A story engine — the “director” — plans each scene: narration beats, who speaks, what they know, and what the stakes are. Every character then writes their own lines from their own persona: their speech style, their secrets, their opinion of you. It is not one narrator wearing five masks; it is five characters in one room, and you are one of them.

Choices are not cosmetic. Trust meters, day counters and scene transitions respond to what you actually say — play it smooth, play it honest, play it cringe, and the story bends accordingly.
